Houlton Christmas Week
As we are fast approaching Christmas, it’s time to take a look at the range of festive events and workshops running from 9th to 17th December 2017.
Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December
It all starts with our Craft Fair in The Barn on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December, from 11am until 3.30pm. Come and get creative with the Handcrafted Delights team.
Enjoy some festive carol singing from 2pm on Saturday 9th and watch the Christmas lights switch on by the mayor of Rugby at 4pm. Saturday also offers a live broadcast by Rugby FM’s Jason Moss from 2pm to 4pm and we continue into the afternoon with the dazzling Christmas light switch on at 4pm along with carol singing from the angelic vocal tones offered by the Rugby Rotary Club. Remember to wrap up warm!
Tuesday 12th December
Bright bricks are back with another free LEGO™ event on Tuesday 12th December from 3pm to 6pm. Perfect for little builders!
Wednesday 13th December
Children are welcome once again, this time for gingerbread decorating, which takes place Wednesday 13th December from 3pm to 6pm. This is a free session and is perfect to keep your youngsters entertained during this festive time.
Thursday 14th December
It’s Felting Thursday! Get creative at our Christmas felting workshop and make your own beautiful festive decorations. This will take place on Thursday 14th December from 10:30am to 12pm and 7:30pm to 9pm, at £20 per person.
Friday 15th December
Join interior design consultant Deborah Emmerson for festive tips and inspiration during a festive interior workshop on Friday 15th December. There will be two sessions to choose from; 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm, both of which are free to join.
Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December
Meet Father Christmas and his real-life reindeer, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December, before he dashes off to begin the Christmas preparations. They will make their grand arrival at 11am on Saturday, and you will be able to meet the reindeer until 2pm, Santa will be in his grotto until 3pm. Remember to wrap up warm!
